MTD Micro Molding, a Charlton plastic injection molding service specializing in medical devices, named Gary Hulecki as CEO after he previously led the company under the title executive vice president. The CEO position had been left vacant following the death of the company's previous leader.
Hulecki, who has served the company for 19 years, has been integral to the company’s operational processes, policies, and systems, according to a written statement by the company.
Hulecki’s change in title is both symbolic and significant for MTD. In 2019, MTD owner and president, Dennis Tully, passed away unexpectedly, devastating both his family and company. In his honor, MTD lists Tully as its CEO in memoriam. Hulecki’s title change represents the first time that someone other than Tully has held the title of CEO.
“Under Dennis Tully’s leadership, MTD more than doubled its workforce, continually made significant investments in innovation, became one of the nation’s fastest-growing companies, and won numerous awards. MTD will continue his legacy of innovation, constantly guided by the five core values that Dennis established: Be the First, Be the Best, Ever Forward, Be Responsible, and Be a Team,” said Lindsay Mann, MTD’s director of sales and marketing, in a written statement.
