A property along Worcester’s Main Street including two commercial buildings sold for $5 million to an entity registered to Barry Lundgren, the owner of an Auburn-based Honda car dealership.
The properties included in the sale were 180, 184, and 174 Main St., according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds. The parcels consist of a 45,600-square-foot commercial building and a parking lot, totaling about $4.9 million in assessed value, according to the City of Worcester.
The current occupants of the properties include the Worcester Law Library, Oftring Investment Group, and a print shop known as AlphaGraphics, according to those firms’ respective websites.
Both businesses have executed new leases and are going to stay in the building, said a representative from Lundgren Equity Partners. The plan is to perform some small improvements and manage the property as is.
The properties were sold by 180 Main Street Associates LLC, which was registered to Robert and Katherine Oftring of Oftring Investment Group, and Kenneth Dearden and Raymond Mantyla, Jr., who are associated with AlphaGraphics.
Oftring Investment and AlphaGraphics could not be reached for immediate comment.
Lundgren’s purchase of the Worcester property, which closed Feb. 7, comes about a week after he sold a parcel at Grafton’s CenTech Park for $3.5 million. In June, the car dealership also bought parcels on Grove and Chadwick Streets in Worcester for $7.9 million.
