BTI Systems, a Canadian-based network infrastructure company with local operations in Marlborough, has created two new senior executive positions.
The company hired Sally Bament as senior vice president of global marketing; she recently served as the head of marketing at Boston-Power, the Westborough-based lithium ion battery producer. Bament, along with the Boston-Power's former CEO and CFO, left shortly before Boston-Power announced $125 million in new venture financing and expansion plans in China.
BTI also hired Paul Crann as senior vice president of product management and businesses development. Crann formerly worked at BigBand Networks, a California-based IT company that has offices in Westborough.
BTI specializes in network infrastructure solutions for metropolitan areas. The company hopes the expanded executive team will work to increase BTI's geographic coverage area and service offerings to include mobility, content and video service delivery.
