Artel Video Systems, a Boxboro-based manufacturer of fiber optic broadcast video equipment, has sold its image processing and multiport connectivity product lines to Shearwater Technology of Littleton.
Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Shearwater has 20 years experience in image processing, telecommunications and hardware, and is familiar with Artel’s customer base, the company said.
Shearwater has bought Artel’s MaxVideo, MaxPCI, Griffin, LMS and WMS product lines.
