An entity registered to the owners of Piece by Piece Movers of Boston has acquired a 4-acre property including a 67,000 square-foot warehouse at 241 Willard St. in Leominster for $7.2 million.
The seller was an entity registered to Julian Coles of Allen and Coles Moving Systems of Portland, Maine. Autumn Tides LLC originally purchased the property in 2012 for $2.2 million.
The property is home to ABC Moving & Storage, an agent for Allied Van Lines of Indiana and sibling company to Allen and Coles. Neither ABC nor Piece by Piece responded to requests for more information.
The sale of the property does not necessarily indicate any change in ownership of the business or of the business location.
The City of Leominster assesses the property at $2.2 million.
In June, Piece by Piece, which is owned by Edward Mezer and Dan Oliphant, purchased a 24,696 square-foot Westborough property for $1.5 million.
