The Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation has donated more than $28,000 to local nonprofit organizations, including $10,000 to the Danforth Museum of Art.
The Danforth donation will fund the museum's Drop Into Art program, which on the first Sunday of each month, opens the museum's doors for free to children between the ages of five and 10 and their families.
About $5,000 will help support the Natick Visiting Nurse Association's tele-monitoring program. MetroWest Legal Services also received a $5,000 donation.
The bank's charitable arm also made donations to Samaritans Inc., the Framingham Rotary Club, the Framingham Housing Authority and the First Baptist Church.
The foundation donated more than $200,000 this year and has donated more than $1.2 million since it was established in 1998.
