Albrecht Auto Group has purchased a property adjacent to its Westborough dealership for $3.5 million.
A 1.5-acre property featuring a two-story, 28,000-square-foot industrial building at 80 Turnpike Road has been sold for $3.5 million to an Albrecht-owned entity by Bornbam Associates of Marlborough, according to Worcester District Registry of Deeds records, with the sale finalizing Friday. The property is bordered on the east by Albrecht of Westboro, which sells cars under the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands.
The purchase comes after the Westborough Planning Board approved a site plan review in September for renovations to the building which would see its second-floor offices demolished and the remainder of the building turned into a space for auto repairs, according to the Community Advocate.
Bornbam previously purchased the building for $2.65 million in February 2023.
In addition to its Westborough dealership, Albrecht operates Central Massachusetts locations in Marlborough and Milford, with seven locations total in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The property was given a tax assessment value of $1.68 million for 2024, according to Town of Westborough property records.
