Westborough industrial building sold for $2.65M

80 Turnpike Road, Westborough
A 28,000-square-foot industrial building along Route 9 in Westborough sold on Friday for $2.65 million, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
The buyer of the property is Bornbam Associates, LLC of Marlborough, an entity registered to entrepreneur Marcello Mallegni. He is the president and CEO of Marlborough auto customization shop Toy Motorsports and Stone, Inc. and president of Framingham custom designer Stone, Inc.
The seller of the property is 80 Turnpike LLC, registered to John Parsons, Jr., managing director and CEO of SVN | Parsons Group in Framingham, which purchased the property in 1997 for $1.2 million, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
The property is assessed by the Town of Westborough for $1.7 million.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article stated incorrectly that the property is home to Aalanco Service Corp., an HVAC and plumbing contractor. That company is located in a seperate building 80-B Turnpike Road.
