Working from home may sound like a dream, but results of a recent OfficeTeam survey suggest it could be a nightmare.
For the survey, 48 percent of respondents said not working in the same office as their boss would make their jobs more difficult. When executives were asked how important it was for all of their employees to be present at the office, 58 percent said it was either very important or somewhat important.
OfficeTeam, a temporary employment agency for administrative employees, said working from home, or remotely, can work if employees and their bosses remain in close contact by phone or email and meet face-to-face whenever possible.
