The team isn’t set to begin play until April 2021, but official Worcester baseball jerseys are now available.
The Pawtucket Red Sox, set to move to Worcester in two years, has yet to unveil an official team name, but “Worcester” will adorn the front of the jerseys in the same design as the team’s major league affiliated Boston Red Sox jerseys.
The jerseys are available at PolarPark.com, the website created by the team and city to solicit input for the $101-million stadium and the eventual team name.
The Canal District stadium will be the centerpiece of a much larger $240-million redevelopment project of the area, including hotels, restaurants and retail uses.

The jersey sales were announced on the Polar Park official Twitter and Facebook pages Monday afternoon.
According to documents unveiled in August when the team and city announced the move, the official business name of the organization will be The Worcester Red Sox, but could very well likely choose to do business using another nickname.
The team has been taking suggestions on a new team name for several months.
Sales of the $99 jerseys are limited.
