Career highlights: First person at Webster Five to be promoted from the branch network into commercial credit, then from credit into business lending. Co-founded the Central Mass. Young Professionals networking group. Chaired the Webster Five United Way Campaign committee in 2011, and achieved a 90 percent employee participation rate.
Community involvement: I've had extensive involvement with the United Way of Central Massachusetts, serving on various committees and volunteering through the Women's Initiative. Also, I recently organized a few women in my department to participate in Habitat for Humanity's “Women Build” program, preparing a Worcester home for a single mother and her children.
Ultimate career goal: A leadership position in which I can mentor others.
Non-relative you admire most: My best friend, Jenn. She approaches life with such a lighthearted and easygoing grace, qualities I value and try to emulate.
Favorite book: “The Dark Tower” series, by Stephen King
Hidden talents: I'm really good at untangling knots, and can count to 10 in Japanese.
“If I were to win $1 million in the lottery, I would … buy a vacation home near the ocean.”
