Massport to cut workforce to match lower volume of travelers

Facing massive financial strain inflicted by the pandemic, the Massachusetts Port Authority plans to slash its workforce by about 25 percent through a combination of voluntary retirements, buyouts, furloughs and layoffs.

Massachusetts gas prices dropped 4 cents in last month

Current prices are four cents lower than a month ago in Massachusetts which was $2.11 per gallon. The current national average is one cent higher than last week at $2.12 per gallon of regular unleaded. 

Gasoline prices drop one cent in Mass.

The average price of gasoline in Massachusetts is down one cent per gallon of regular unleaded, according to a Monday report from AAA Northeast.

MBTA warns of mask mandate enforcement
