Rideshare drivers revive push for union rights

After an election cycle where ride-hailing and food delivery drivers' rights were originally planned to be on the ballot, drivers for apps such as Uber, Lyft, Doordash and Instacart joined with labor advocate allies to attempt to reinvigorate calls for a union ahead of the new legislative session set to start in two weeks.

Mass. gas prices down another 10 cents

The average gas price now sits at $3.44 a gallon. That is down 38 cents from just a month ago ($3.82), and 5 cents higher than this time last year.

Boston firm buys Kraft-owned Lancaster warehouse for $48M

Boston real estate investment firm The Seyon Group purchased a 275,620 square-foot warehouse in Lancaster for $48 million from Foxborough-based The Kraft Group.

Mass. gas prices fall by 10 cents

The average cost for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Massachusetts has fallen by 10 cents in the last week, now at $3.66.

CarMax settles claims over selling practices for $1M

CarMax Auto Superstores, Inc., which has a location in Westborough, reached a multistate settlement of $1 million following an investigation into the company’s selling practices by a coalition of state attorneys general.

MassDevelopment grants $1.5M to Central Mass. for transit initiatives

MassDevelopment made 18 grants totalling more than $1.5 million to businesses, cities, towns, and nonprofit organizations in Central Mass.
