Over the past few months, Kennedy Community Health has remained open, working on the frontlines to fight the pandemic. Tents were set up at our health center sites to screen and test patients, with other safety protocols established to provide a safe environment for our patients and staff. Our staff worked tirelessly to open new and safer paths to care, including the introduction of telehealth to continue to address our most vulnerable patients’ needs. Keeping with current guidelines, Kennedy Community Health is slowly adding more in person appointments and remains strong in the face of this unprecedented and challenging time.
Our vision is to be a constantly growing, financially sound, Federally Qualified Community Health Center that:
1. Efficiently delivers high quality, accessible primary care services
2. Becomes the health care home and provider choice of all our patients
3. Achieves excellence in outcomes with our patients as partners
4. Remains at the forefront of innovative health care practices
5. Serves as a clinical arm for community-based health
6. Partners with other organizations to support public health
7. Provides services in a cost efficient manner
8. Lowers health care delivery system costs by keeping patients healthy
9. Employs a community workforce
10. Buys goods and services locally
