The Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center creates healthier lives for the people who live and work in our community. Our staff and clinicians work diligently to address the social determining factors of health that keep people from living a quality life through preventive health care that supports active living, healthy eating, regular oral and eye care, and strong emotional and mental health.
Our 2020 Vision calls for:
1. Best in Class Clinical Care
2. Strong Financial Performance
3. Employer of Choice
4. Operational Excellence
5. Innovative Technology
6. Strong
The Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center hosts two signature events each year. In the spring, our staff, patients and the community join us for A Mile in My Shoes: Walk and Run for a Healthier Community. This event calls attention to the importance of our work through a healthy and fun family activity.
In the fall, we present the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Award to one individual and one organization making an impact on the health and wellness of the communities we serve. This opportunity allows the community to recognize the good works of those who support the mission and vision of Kennedy CHC.
Support for these events can be made through sponsorships, donations and attendance. For more information, contact Paula Green, Vice President, Advancement at paula.green@kennedychc.org
Kennedy CHC continues to implement its strategic philanthropic plan that has already begun to raise the visibility of and recognition for the tremendous impact the organization makes in the over 90 communities it serves. Through the guidance of the Advancement Committee of the Board, Kennedy CHC hosts fundraising programs throughout the year, so look for our information in Toni McGuire’s monthly e-newsletter, on our Facebook page and in mailboxes.
Past funding sources include many of our wonderful and generous Worcester-based Foundations, and Kennedy CHC recognizes these outstanding organizations for their continued support of the Health Center throughout its 46-year history.
Donations can be made directly on the website at www.kennedychc.org. In-kind support is welcome in the form of sporting or event tickets for raffles/auctions, refreshments for patient groups and specific projects/events, and/or business services such as printing, graphic design, photography and videography.
Volunteers are always welcome at Kennedy CHC. Help is needed in our administrative areas, as well as in assisting us in keeping our facilities fresh and up-to-date for our patients. Volunteers can give as much time as they have available and we always strive to find the best fit so they feel valued and their time is well-spent.
At Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, we help patients live healthier lives. Our health care team and our patients work together every day to manage health in an ever changing healthcare environment. We have a skilled and diverse workforce that reflects our vibrant patient communities – this combination positively impacts the health of the cities and towns in which we work, live and play. Toni McGuire and I invite you to learn more about our amazing organization.
