1. Leverage and expand our organization and our innovative partnerships to increase collective impact on the communities we serve.
2. Improve the long-term success outcomes for people in transition by filling the gap between safety net services and permanent success.
3. Demonstrate that the services we provide, partnerships we form, and actions we take have a measurable, positive impact on the overall health and wellbeing of the people we serve.
4. Advocate on behalf of the people we serve with government and non-government funders to promote and gain support for our integrated, holistic model of service delivery.
5. Maintain a relentless focus on quality improvement and waste reduction.
6. Grow our private support and our innovative funding models (e.g. social enterprise and program-related investments) so that we can diversify our sources of funding and move away from government support.
Ascentria Care Alliance is planning a number of events for 2018-2019. To ensure the most up-to-date information, please visit our website at ascentria.org or follow us on Facebook. Both of these outlets feature client stories, the impact of donor investments, upcoming events, opportunities to get involved, and much more.
Ascentria Care Alliance is one of the largest and most dynamic faith-based human service organizations in New England, serving children, youth and families; persons with developmental disabilities and mental illness; refugees, including unaccompanied refugee minors; and older adults and the elderly.
We have a vibrant, effective presence in Central Massachusetts, assisting clients with economic, legal, language, transportation, and educational challenges through our Equipped to Thrive care model. We cultivate hope and confidence through workforce development, education and volunteer opportunities; and stimulate positive transformations by providing people with the tools and resources they need to move forward in their lives.
Donors support Ascentria through our #GivingTuesday, year-end and spring appeals. Donations are gratefully accepted year round at ascentria.org/donate. Additional opportunities to give include employee matching gift programs, gifts of stock, and planned gifts. Corporate sponsorship opportunities also are available. In-kind contributions are greatly appreciated. Please visit ascentria.org for additional information.
Individuals or corporations interested in making a donation or exploring sponsorship opportunities are invited to contact our Development Department at 774.243.3900 or development@ascentria.org.
Volunteers collaborate with us in productive and creative ways to enhance organizational capacity, empower our clients and strengthen our communities. Tutoring, providing pro bono professional services and skills training are just a few examples of how Ascentria volunteers effect real and lasting change in others. Our employees and the people that we serve truly appreciate and value our volunteers! Ascentria volunteers find their work to be impactful, interesting and tremendously rewarding.
Ascentria offers a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout New England. See our complete listing at ascentria.org/volunteer. Please contact our Development Department at 774.243.3900 or development@ascentria.org for more information.
“It is ‘Hope’ as a decision that makes change possible.” This quote captures for me the spirit of our employees, volunteers, supporters, and clients in their daily effort to create new possibilities. In the midst of uncertainty, you choose ‘Hope’ every time to engage in making lives better, serving others, pursuing growth, and addressing life’s challenges.
– William Mayo, Ascentria Board Chair and CIO, Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard
