The board of directors for the Workers' Credit Union approved a payout of more than $2.5 million to members as a result of the credit union's performance in 2014, according to a news release Wednesday from the credit union.

Annual net income increased 14 percent for New Hampshire-based power company Unitil Corp., driven by higher natural gas and electric sales, according to an earnings statement released Wednesday.

Net income for Hampton, N.H.-based utility company Unitil Corp. increased by $1.2 million, or 9 cents per share, in the second quarter, compared with 2013.
