Dickson as its new president and CEO.<br> The 46-year-old Dickson will succeed John O'Brien, who has been at the helm of Central Massachusetts' largest employer for the past decade. O'Brien will step down Feb. 25. Dickson is president of UMass Memorial Medical Group, a subsidiary of the health care system. That has 1,060 physicians and 2,200 other employees, as well as revenue of more than $460 million. The Princeton resident is also a senior associate dean at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he is a professor of emergency medicine. In addition, Dickson is a practicing emergency department physician at UMass Memorial Medical Center and a faculty member at the Institute of Healthcare Improvement in Cambridge.

Nypro Inc. of Clinton is being sold to a Florida-based provider of manufactured precision plastics products for an estimated $665 million, according to a statement from that company.

The owner of a Central Massachusetts limousine service has bought the Leitrim Pub on Park Avenue, according to a firm that helped broker the sale for owners Michael Coonan and Kevin Lenihan.

Devens-based AMSC said it will sell high-temperature superconductor (HTS) wire to Nexans, a French provider of cables and cabling systems. Nexans will use the wire as part of a type of surge protector for a project designed to replace high-voltage equipment in inner cities with superconductor systems.
