The Devens headquarters of Commonwealth Fusion Systems has been sold for $74 million by a Boston-based real estate investment firm to two investment groups. 

After inking a similar deal with Google in June, Commonwealth Fusion has signed a power purchase agreement with a longtime investor.

Devens-based Electric Hydrogen has acquired a New York firm also working to grow the concept of green hydrogen.

Liddell, who served as assistant to the president, deputy chief of staff, director of strategic initiatives, and director of the American Technology Council under Trump, is joining the company’s board as an independent member.

CFS has raised more than $2 billion in capital since it was founded in 2018.

In his order, Carter outlined the difficult life circumstances many Job Corps students are attempting to overcome as they work to gain skills in industries like construction and manufacturing.

The firm is expanding its facility in Devens after designating the site as the company’s headquarters in March.

McGovern, appearing alongside Congresswoman Lori Trahan and graduates of the Devens center, spoke outside the facility one day after a federal judge extended a temporary restraining order blocking the closures for another week. 

A federal judge had ordered the Trump Administration to stop its attempts to shutter Job Corps centers across the country, including in Grafton and Devens. 

“These are people's lives they're playing with, and it's horrible,” Hebert said of the Trump Administration’s decision to unilaterally shutter all contract-run Job Centers across the country.
