The Westborough-based Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce has rebranded with a new name and logo, effective as of Friday.

The Northeast Microelectronics Coalition Hub, a division of the Westborough-based Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, has named Mark Halfman as hub director, leading the hub’s strategy and execution initiatives. 

As Ascend Elements is building billions dollars worth of electric vehicle battery recycling facilities in America and Europe, the Westborough firm has inked a deal with an Atlanta logistics organization to manage the flow of those materials.

The Greater Worcester Community Foundation and Worcester Regional Research Bureau have teamed up to launch a new platform designed to provide data regarding the quality of life in Worcester County. 

This logistics simulation model will be able to run a number of different scenarios to help Ascend determine the most efficient way to operate the plant.

Silverman will lead revenue growth efforts, sales strategies, and customer engagement as the IT world adapts to the rapid adoption of AI-based technology, according to a press release issued by The Channel Co. on Tuesday. 

Since its founding in 1984, NORESCO has guaranteed more than $5 billion in energy cost savings at more than 10,000 facilities, spanning the globe from Massachusetts to Japan.

The joint venture will own and operate two planned EV battery recycling plants, with one in Poland and the other in Germany.
