Athol Hospital has risen to the top as the most profitable in Central Massachusetts, according to data released Thursday.

While the median price of a single-family home in Central Massachusetts dropped in August after the traditional peak of the homesale season in mid-summer, the month saw higher prices and fewer sales than August 2024. 

Level99 is in active negotiations in 15+ states, with the goal of locating urban and suburban markets with venues ranging from 30,000 to 45,000 square feet.

Bountiful Farms, a Lakeville-based cannabis wholesaler, will soon open one of its first-ever recreational retail locations, with one set to debut in Framingham.

The opening of Level99's next location comes as it seeks to open a venue at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and another location in West Hartford, Connecticut. 

Even with the increases compared to 2024, buyers are likely to find lower prices now that the peak homebuying month of June has passed.
