With increasing focus being paid to making newly constructed buildings more energy efficient and environmentally friendly, Milford-based Consigli Construction has named Edward White as the director of operations for Arch Energy, the firm’s clean energy division. 

“I feel honored to once again lead my physician colleagues, who have entrusted me with this great responsibility,” Crimaldi said in the press release. “I also welcome the opportunity to work with hospital leadership to advocate on behalf of our clinicians and patients.”

Current tenants at the site include Sal’s Upholstery and the Milford Performing Arts Center.

The 119-room, four-floor hotel was built in 1999, according to Town of Milford property records. Amenities at the facilities include a fitness center, on-site laundry facilities, and an heated indoor swimming pool.

The situation in Central Massachusetts, where 15.6% of named executive officers are female, largely mirrors the Massachusetts rate of 16.1% determined in a statewide census.

Though the name of the client and the cancer treatment it produces is confidential, Rentschler Biopharma's Tom Roberts says this is just the first in a new wave of business in Milford for the 150-year-old company.

After months of discussions, UMass Memorial Health in Worcester and Milford Regional Medical Center have signed a definitive agreement for corporate affiliation, allowing the struggling MetroWest hospital to receive support from Central Massachusetts’ largest healthcare system. 

The fiercely independent Milford hospital long resisted efforts to join with another hospital system, but a $15-million operating loss in fiscal 2023 helped force the board of trustees' hand.
