Boston Scientific has added a new member to its board of directors, naming Dr. Cheryl Pegus as the board’s latest addition, effective immediately. 

Worcester’s publicly owned arena and convention center will continue to bear the name of a Central Massachusetts company, as Marlborough-based Digital Credit Union has extended its naming rights deal through the end of June 2027. 

A longtime Worcester manufacturer, which played a key role in the Apollo space program and the Moon landing, is seeking to move its headquarters.

The new facility, named the Operations and Manufacturing Center of Excellence, is a 32,000-square-foot facility that includes research and development, manufacturing, quality control, warehouse, and distribution space.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall of Boston Scientific’s Obsidio conformable embolic medical device after an investigation found using the product for lower gastrointestinal bleeding embolization can result in a high risk of bowel ischemia, otherwise known as reduced or restricted blood flow.

Swinford is the CEO of Numotion, a Tennessee-based wheelchair and mobility equipment company. Numotion has 150 storefronts in the country, including a location in Worcester.
