Five Central Massachusetts life sciences companies are splitting $5 million in tax incentives to create 245 jobs in the region.

Rapscallion, the Spencer-based microbrewery, bar, and restaurant with locations throughout Central Massachusetts, has opened its fourth location, this time in Lawrence.

The Power 100 edition is an annual report on how power is shared and expended in Central Massachusetts each year, as told through the 100 people who are most effectively wielding their influence, with a special focus on those creating change and bringing new ideas to the forefront.

“We are grateful to Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects for their partnership with this renovation project at our One Ash Street office,” Jack Fleming, president and CEO of the Boston Athletic Association, said.

The $5 million raised is a milestone toward the overall goal of $6.5 million. These funds will allow the nonprofit to expand from its current 2,480-square-foot shelter into a 8,200-square-foot modern shelter.

Dell still has a presence in Hopkinton, owning three properties which feature about 1.28 million square feet of office space. However, since the 2015 merger announcement, the company has off-loaded more than 1.2 million square feet.
