The Federal Emergency Management Agency will reimburse the City of Worcester for operating the 250-bed DCU Center field hospital in the initial phases of the coronavirus pandemic.

Dean College in Franklin announced in June two historic appointments to its leadership team. Kenneth Elmore will serve as the school’s 14th president and former Worcester city manager Edward Augustus will be the school’s first-ever chancellor.

The Saint-Gobain North America Foundation, the corporate foundation of Worcester manufacturer Saint-Gobain, said on Thursday it awarded $170,000 in funding to 21 Greater Worcester nonprofits.Â
