Two other L.L.Bean locations operate in Central Massachusetts: one store is located at The Shops at Blackstone Valley in Millbury, and the other at The Shops at Highland Commons in Hudson, near the town’s border with Berlin. 

Framingham State University’s STEM, students, faculty, and academic programs just received a major boost in funding as a former university professor and his wife have pledged more than $2 million to the Central Massachusetts school.

DetraPel, a Framingham-based chemical manufacturer once featured on the entrepreneur-focused TV show “Shark Tank”, is relocating its headquarters to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Even with the increases compared to 2024, buyers are likely to find lower prices now that the peak homebuying month of June has passed.

The merger is expected to be completed by early 2026 and will result in a $1.15-billion entity. The newly-combined firm will serve more than 62,850 members with 8 branch locations.

Both will serve two-year terms for the advocacy group supporting mental health and addiction services throughout the commonwealth.
