Worcester-based World Energy Solutions said it helped Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H., procure more than 10 million kilowatt hours of electricity, for which the college secured renewable energy credits to cover the entire purchase.

Area Unemployment Rises In May

Worcester County was among the majority of areas in the state that saw their unemployment rate tick up slightly in May, rising to 7.5 percent, up 0.5 of a percentage point from April, according to the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
