MassDevelopment, the state’s development agency, issued a $16.5-million tax-exempt bond to Attleboro autism services nonprofit Amego Inc., to buy 16 facilities, including seven in Central Massachusetts.

More than $700,000 has been funneled into Central Mass. cultural nonprofit organizations as part of a $10-million funding package disbursed to 183 groups across the state through the Massachusetts Cultural Council and Executive Office of Housing & Economic Development, the groups announced on Thursday. 

More than a dozen humanities-oriented organizations in Central Mass. will receive coronavirus relief through the federal CARES Act, Mass Humanities announced on Tuesday. According to the organization, which functions as the state-based affiliate for the National Endowment for the Humanities, $65,000 will be distributed across 13 different cultural institutions.
