Vinh Ly, owner of 3B Auto Inc. on Canterbury Street in Worcester, has purchased three lots in Worcester and Auburn for just under $1.2 million.

The median price in June of a single-family home in Massachusetts reached $610,000, while that figure for homes in Worcester County rose 9.4% year over year to $432,050.

The former Auburn headquarters of defunct and legally troubled Solar Wolf Energy is available for lease, less than a year and a half after the renewable energy firm moved to the location.

Lundgren Equity Partners, LLC of Auburn purchased the 57,000-square-foot former location of Consolidated Fabrications in Auburn for $3.75 million.

The property housing the Lundgren Honda dealership at 145-163 Washington St. in Auburn has sold for $18.5 million to Legacy Automotive Capital of Exton, Pa., a company specializing in sale-leaseback and buy/sell capital transactions for the automotive retail industry.

Webster Plaza, a two-building, 70,600-square-foot retail strip in Webster, sold for $5.3 million, according to a Thursday press release from NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs, the Worcester real estate agency which brokered the sale.

Overall, more than 20,000 PPP loans for a total of $1.8 billion were given out to businesses across Worcester County, with more than 4,800 and $450 million of those loans going to businesses within the city of Worcester, according to data from the SBA.

Finding stable housing has always been a challenge for low-income earners, but the problem has ballooned in places like Worcester where the average rent is growing about 10 percentage points faster than the average income.
