Massachusetts marijuana company Curaleaf, with its cultivation and manufacturing facility in Webster, has been warned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for illegally selling CBD online and claiming that products treat cancer, Alzheimer’s, opioid withdrawal, pain and pet anxiety. 

Curaleaf, with its Massachusetts medical and retail cannabis operations largely in Worcester County, says it is now the world’s largest marijuana company after announcing and agreement Chicago-based Grassroots for $875 million.
