Sturbridge horse center submits application for $50M racetrack project

The Sturbridge Agricultural & Equestrian Center on Friday submitted an application with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to construct and operate a racetrack in Sturbridge, marking the first of many steps for pushing forward the proposed project, according to a Monday press release from the center.

Over town objections, $100M Charlton natural gas pipeline and facility slated for final approval

A pipeline and natural gas liquidation plant proposed in Charlton was recommended for approval on Sept. 20 and will go up for a final vote before the Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Board next week, according to a notice on Mass.gov.
