Employees at Dean College, Bowditch & Dewey, and Milford Regional Physician Group are advancing in their professional careers.

The Rockdale Mills site, a 95-acre complex in Northbridge home to a cotton mill first built in the 1850s, has been sold for $1.1 million following an October auction to a Brookline-based entity.

In its second effort in October to boost working capital, Northborough-based manufacturer Aspen Aerogels is seeking to raise $85 million by putting an additional 4.25 million shares of its stock on the market. 

Two Central Massachusetts life sciences companies are expanding their presence in the state, committing to a total of 130 new jobs as part of a state tax incentive program designed to bolster the life sciences industry.

Governor Maura Healey’s Administration issued $19 million this year in funding from the state’s Workforce Training Funding Program through October, a number including more than $3.9 million in support of training for 2,500+ jobs in Central Massachusetts.
