An Auburn mixed-use building has been sold and will be the new expanded home of Fairway Mortgage, according to Glickman Kovago & Co., which handled the transaction for the sellers.

Wayland office condo portfolio sold for $1.3M

Legacy Warrior LLC has sold its portfolio of office condos in Wayland for $1.3 million, according to Greater Boston Commercial Properties (GBCP), which handled the transaction for the sellers.

Pending home sales up in August

The number of pending single-family home and condominium sales climbed in August, as did the median price of the agreed-upon sales, according to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR).

Pharmacy business expanding in Marlborough

New Jersey-based Partners Pharmacy is expanding its operations in Marlborough after signing a 10-year lease on Cedar Hill Street, according to both the company and the broker, Greater Boston Commercial Properties of Marlborough. Marc Altholz, executive vice president of marketing and business development for Partners, said the business leased an additional 18,000 square feet at 165-181 Cedar Hill St. after it outgrew its 6,000-square-foot space in the same location. Partners, which is unrelated to Partners Healthcare of Boston, will now occupy space on the first floor, and maintain some of its existing offices on the second floor, Altholz said.

After two Main Street sales, Hudson Catholic building also under agreement

Two Main Street properties in downtown Hudson were recently sold and a third is under agreement, according to Concord commercial real estate firm O'Brien Commercial Properties, giving the area an apparent edge in downtown revitalization. With a doughnut shop slated for the former Salvation Army thrift store on Main Street, and a portion of the former Larkin Lumber site on Main Street sold for potential redevelopment, plus a couple of new bars in the works, economic development officials have reason to celebrate.
