Foreclosure petitions rise in March

Foreclosure petitions in Massachusetts continued to climb in March, posting a 68 percent increase compared with March 2014, according to a new report from The Warren Group. It was the 13th straight month of year-over-year increases in petition filings.

Mass. home sales slightly higher in March

Single-family home sales in Massachusetts rose almost 1 percent in March compared with a year earlier, according to a report Tuesday from The Warren Group. There were 2,778 single-family homes sold statewide in March 2015; 2,754 in March 2014.
