The issue is finding a job with a livable wage.

I was in the workforce with a stellar career for almost 4 decades when my job, along with 75% of our staff, was eliminated due to the pandemic. I was a valuable asset with a degree and broad experience and now can’t even get a response to my applications. I am all too aware of this being common place with countless other workers in my industry…No responses from companies allegedly in dire straits for help. Not to mention the ridiculous cuts in pay for like positions…Not even a living wage. So, hiring managers, we are here looking for jobs! Show basic courtesy and respond to us. We can fill your positions and add great value to your teams. But not for $13-$15 per hour when we earned and are worth 2 to 3 times that.
