Gov. Charlie Baker announced on March 17 all adults will be eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine by April 19. The announcement came after cases dropped significantly following a winter holiday surge, and just days before the first day of spring. Emergency regulations meant to curb the spread of the coronavirus are also easing, with the state officially having entered Phase 4 of the four-step reopening plan on March 22. But the question of when life will return to relative normal remains up in the air, as the Centers for Disease Control recommends fully vaccinated individuals continue to wear their masks and practice social distancing around those who are not vaccinated.
