Brushed aside in the announcement of the two new destinations was news of the elimination of access to all other jetBlue destinations. Its not a minor detail. The JFK flights provided access to a vast network of destinations on the jetBlue system, and without those flights, those of us who travel to jetBlue destinations other than Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Ft. Myers are left high and dry. This is not a step forward for the airport or jetBlue's commitment to it. It's a shame that in all of the carefully crafted quotes conveying excitement for these new flights, no one cared to mention the fact that these changes make jetBlue's Worcester service less appealing to all but those travelers going to Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando or Ft. Myers.
