Adding the intended salary for a position should already be a requirement. For some people, putting in the time to apply and interview for a job isn't worth it when the job they're applying will pay them less than they're already making. Losing out on that time could also mean losing out on hours for their current job. Around the time when the pandemic began, there was an open Google form circulating in the arts and culture community asking the salaries of current positions. The goal was to open the conversation of how underpaid people are and how much it differs from different industries. Money is no longer a taboo topic; let's speak openly about what we're making and how we're spending, too. A full listing of benefits, and their value, should also be included in the job description.
