Unemployment in the Greater Worcester metro area fell half a percentage point to 3.9% in March, which was slightly higher than the Massachusetts rate of 3.8%. In the Leominster-Gardner metro area, unemployment fell to 4.6%. All three figures are significant improvements from a year ago and near pre-COVID levels.
