The Gardner school has received more than $5 million to support the academic success of low-income students, first-generation students, and students with disabilities.
A new housing program will afford students at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner the ability to live on Fitchburg State University’s campus as the two institutions have entered into a residential collegiate housing agreement.Â
As Mount Wachusett Community College is experiencing record-high enrollment numbers, the Gardner school has received nearly $1 million from the U.S. Department of Education to address basic needs within its student population.
Some freshmen at Worcester Polytechnic Institute will spend the fall living at a hotel just off campus. Clark University and Framingham State University have plans in place to isolate students in their dorms while awaiting coronavirus test results.
