Charles “Chip” Norton, director of Franklin Realty Advisors in Wellesley, has breathed new life into once boarded up buildings by developing them into Southbridge Innovation Center.

A development at 2 Mercantile in Worcester, which is slated to become an upscale dining spot seating hundreds of patrons, is up for sale for $5.7 million, $1 million more than the owner invested in renovations, according to the website of Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates, Inc., the Worcester company brokering the sale.

The Worcester Business Center has begun a 25-year lease agreement with Green Street Power Partners of Connecticut to build a 2 megawatt, 2.6-acre carport canopy solar array in the parking lot of its office space complex.

Five years ago, WBJ created its Hall of Fame in order to honor the lifetime achievements of those professionals who have significantly improved the Central Massachusetts economy and community. With the induction this year of the Class of 2021, the WBJ Hall of Fame has grown to 17 members
