The 373,500-square-foot manufacturing facility the Kraft Group is building for its Worcester-based packaging manufacturing division held its topping off ceremony on Tuesday.

New Jersey-based pharmaceutical company PTC Therapeutics, Inc. has received marketing authorization from the European Commission for a gene therapy treatment manufactured in partnership with MassBiologics of UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester.

The 31,080-square-foot location of a glass factory in Whitinsville sold for $4.2 million on Aug. 1. The manufacturer will remain at the location.
