Gov. Maura Healey is angling to attract federal dollars to Massachusetts for microelectronics and other tech advancements, despite the House appearing to not share her urgency.

A Natick company is propelling the next generation of spacecrafts into orbit. Busek Co. Inc. makes in-space propulsion thrusters, and its thrusters were installed on Airbus OneWeb Satellites now orbiting the Earth. 

Waters Corp. in Milford plans to acquire light scattering technology company Wyatt Technology Corp. for $1.36 billion in cash. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2023.
