A 16,600-square-foot medical office on 48 Elm St. in Worcester was bought by the owners of local restaurant Wings Over Worcester, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.

The Compass Tavern, a bar and nightclub in Worcester’s Canal District, closed Sunday, and renovations for a family-style restaurant began the following morning, said Eric Lindquist, a spokesperson for the project.

Crust Bakeshop in Worcester lost several thousands of dollars Sunday night when an unknown number of people broke into the bakery’s West Boylston Street location, owner Alexis Kelleher said on Tuesday.

The owners of Tree House Brewing Co. have purchased a parcel of land adjacent to the company’s Charlton headquarters for $2 million, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
