Massachusetts cannabis regulators have sounded the alarm over potentially harmful products sold by two marijuana companies, who are both pushing back against the need for the notice and the state’s haphazard testing system.

Crumbl Cookies, the Utah-based dessert franchise known for its jumbo treats with a cult following, will open a Shrewsbury location on Friday. 

The 50-page lawsuit claims the actions of the labs has violated state law, intentionally interfered with MCR’s business relations, and led to unjust enrichment. 

Healey, in her annual budget bill filed last week, proposed removing candy's exemption from the sales tax in Massachusetts.

"[T]his case has not proceeded with the alacrity one might expect in a matter that carries the level of importance attached to it by the parties and public alike.
