Paul DiLeo has grown his family’s propane business into a regional powerhouse while expanding into multiple industries across Central Massachusetts.

Since taking over DiLeo Gas with his brother Harry in 2015, he has grown the company from 800 customers to 13,000+ customers and from five to 45 employees. His strategic expansion includes purchasing and developing propane storage locations in Sturbridge and Thompson, Connecticut, with a fourth location planned for Orange. His commitment to fair pricing and transparent business practices has helped countless customers escape restrictive contracts with larger competitors.

His entrepreneurial vision encompasses real estate development and hospitality through Churchill James LLC, his partnership with his brother Harry and Thomas Keane. Together they have opened American Flatbread locations in Brighton and Worcester, bringing candlepin bowling back to the city where it was founded.

What actor would play you in a movie? Mark Wahlberg, a Mass. native with grit, hustle, and entrepreneurial spirit, who built success across industries through determination, hard work, and never forgetting his roots.

Who helped you the most in your professional journey? My brother Harry, my business partner; my father, Paul Sr., who started our propane company; and my grandfather, Harry Churchill, who taught and guided my dad from the beginning.
