As partner and managing attorney at The Law Offices of David A. Camiel, Nicole Torres helped open two additional offices, bringing the firm’s total to four locations while doubling the staff of attorneys, paralegals, and administrators.
Her achievement of partnership at the young age of 34 reflects both her legal expertise and business acumen in the competitive real estate law market. Torres’ civic engagement demonstrates her commitment to strengthening her community from multiple angles. As vice president of Shrewsbury Rotary Club, vice president of the Shrewsbury Development Corp., and vice chair of Shrewsbury’s 300th Anniversary Committee, she actively shapes the town’s economic development and community initiatives.
Her dedication to public service extends to her candidacy for Shrewsbury Select Board. Beyond professional and civic accomplishments, Torres has demonstrated remarkable personal resilience and generosity. She completed the Boston Marathon three times, raising more than $30,000 for her husband’s ex-wife, who was battling brain cancer. Her relentless work ethic and commitment to community service position her as a rising leader whose impact on Central Massachusetts will only grow.
Do you prefer working from home or the office? OFFICE! Impossible to get things done at home with an 8 and 6 year old!
Favorite Central Mass. community? Nothing beats Shrewsbury.
What should older generations understand about young professionals? They are not looking for an all-or-nothing approach to business. They want more balance professionally and personally.
What person would you like to meet in the next 40 years? I would actually like to go BACK 40 years to meet Ruth Bader Ginsberg at the start of her legal career!
