In her job leading WPI diversity initiatives, Wall creates paths for students to one day have the type of success and involvement she’s had with her alma maters. Wall is the president-elect of the athletics board of directors at American International College in Springfield and received an alumni service award this year from Springfield College, where she received her master’s degree in psychology. Wall spends much of her days at WPI serving as a liaison for institutional initiatives in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion, and building student support, outreach, and engagement services. Wall develops and implements strategy in capital planning for university growth, a process considering the needs of different abilities and inclusion of safe spaces and gender-inclusive restrooms. Her responsibilities also include WPI’s entire 2,400-bed residential housing system. She volunteers as a fundraiser for the ALS Therapy Development Institute in Cambridge. For the ALS institute, Wall helps WPI’s Phi Gamma Delta fraternity on a philanthropy event and bikes for more than 270 miles over three days for its annual Tri-State Trek. Wall volunteers for WPI’s Touch Tomorrow event, a festival offering educational opportunities for children across the area, is an assistant coach on the varsity softball team, and is a co-advisor to the school’s LGBTQ+ student group. – Profile written by Grant Welker
