A local businessman has donated $5 million to renovate Milford Regional Medical Center's emergency department and intensive care unit, the largest gift in the history of the health care facility.
Tufts Medical Center announced it has opened a new primary care office in Framingham in partnership with MetroWest Medical Center.
The practice, called Tufts Medical Center Primary Care, will refer patients in need of follow-up care to specialists at both Tufts Medical Center in Boston and MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Natick, according to a statement from Tufts. Tufts Medical Center Primary Care offers same-day appointments and on-site laboratory services at its location on Route 9, at 85 Worcester Road, next to Shopper's World.
