Gasoline prices in the Greater Worcester metro area gas prices decreased again this week, along the Massachusetts average, although this downward current may not last for long.

Massachusetts is approaching the most challenging period of its decades-long mission to reach net zero emissions by 2050, with decarbonizing the energy sector being a critical part of reaching the state’s next benchmark in 2030, according to one state official.

The Worcester Business Journal will host its annual Energy Summit on Tuesday at Worcester’s DCU Center.

The company was one of eight fusion-related companies selected by the DOE to receive a total of $46 million, as part of the department’s Milestone-Based Fusion Development Program
